Taste of the 24 Raises More Than $100,000!
For the fourth year in a row, a sell-out crowd attended the Taste of the 24 at Daytona International Speedway. More than 1,300 guests enjoyed a delicious blend of food and fast cars, with access all weekend long to the endurance race and Sprint FANZONE, during the Rolex 24 at Daytona.
The NASCAR Foundation in conjunction with the Daytona State College Foundation featured 24 of the area’s fantastic regional restaurants all coming together to support local charities. Funds raised from the event support education initiatives and The NASCAR Foundation's Speediatrics unit at Halifax health in the local Daytona Beach community.
"We're thrilled that our community has once again enthusiastically supported the Taste of 24," said Kay Burniston, executive director of the Daytona State College Foundation, "The evening was a blast, and the proceeds will make a difference to many of our students."
"The NASCAR Foundation has been proud to partner with Daytona State college Foundation on this spectacular event," said Lorene King, executive director of The NASCAR Foundation. "We appreciate all of the support we have received from the local community."
