Pediatric trauma is the No. 1 killer of children in America. More than 12,000 kids die every year from life-threatening injuries - more than all causes combined. No patient produces more anxiety in caregivers than the critically injured child. Budget shortfalls have forced EMS services and other pre-hospital care to choose more general types of training. When medical personnel are appropriately trained, there is a better outcome - children's lives are saved. To continue funding the life-saving research and medical education needed to impact this number one killer of children, we need the help of fans!
