The NASCAR Foundation has pledged support for a national campaign to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.  In observance of the 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance, the “I Will, Join the 9/11 Tribute Movement” campaign organized by MyGoodDeed and the HandsOn Network seeks to create the single largest day of charitable service in U.S. history.

Send a postcard to a first responder

In honor of the ten-year anniversary of September 11, 2011, NASCAR fans are sending postcards to First Responders throughout the country thanking them for their service and dedication. Help us reach our goal of sending 10,000 postcards to these brave men and women.

Volunteer in honor of 9/11

NASCAR fans can support the 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance by volunteering at Richmond International Raceway with The NASCAR Foundation or by participating in volunteer projects in local communities around the country.

  • The NASCAR Foundation at Richmond International Raceway -Please join us in paying tribute to the 10th anniversary of 9.11 at Richmond International Raceway by volunteering with The NASCAR Foundation. Several opportunities are available which include, passing out American flags at the gates, collecting donations for NASCAR Unites bands, and assisting with distribution and collection of post card messages first responders. Volunteers will be given 9-11 Tribute t-shirt, lanyard, and race ticket to the 9-10 race at Richmond. Bus transportation will be provided for volunteers. Click here to sign up!
