NASCAR CHAMPION MIKE SKINNER’S 3RD ANNUAL “TOYOTA SKINNER ROUND UP” RAISES $134,000 FOR AREA CHARITIES IN DAYTONA BEACH

Fans, Celebrities and Sponsors Share Two Days of Music, Golf and Poker

Daytona Beach, Fla. – March 17, 2009  – NASCAR Champion driver Mike Skinner announced today that $134,000 was raised during his 3RD ANNUAL TOYOTA SKINNER ROUND UP,  a two-day event held recently at Daytona International Speedway and Spruce Creek Country Club in Daytona Beach, Fla.

"I can’t put into words how much Angie and I appreciate the support of the fans, our community, the celebrities, sponsors and volunteers who gave of their time, money and energy to make the 3rd ANNUAL TOYOTA SKINNER ROUND UP such a fun event as well as a vehicle to benefit some wonderful charities right here at home,” said Skinner.  “We had a blast, and the generosity of everyone involved was amazing to see during these tough economic times.”  He added that all proceeds benefit the Council on Aging, Greyhound Pets of America, Halifax Health Foundation, Second Harvest Food Bank and Concerned Citizens for Animal Welfare.

Celebrities joining in to sing, play golf and poker included NFL star Randy Moss, NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly, award-winning singer/songwriter Edwin McCain, daredevil Robby Knieval, Betty Jane France, jazz/blues superstar Stacy Mitchhart, and NASCAR drivers A. J. Allmendinger, Boris Said, Rick Crawford, Ron Hornaday, TJ Bell and Steve Park, and Toyota executives Lee White and Ed Laukes and NASCAR Camping World Truck Director Wayne Auton.
