NASCAR Day Tip #2
3/28/2006

On NASCAR Day why don't you issue a competition between departments at your company. If your company lets the employees wear their NASCAR gear to work you could make it a competition for best-dressed department. Have everyone vote (through email or ballot) on the department that they think has the best NASCAR outfits. If you can't wear your NASCAR gear to work on NASCAR Day you could make it a competition for the department that sells the most NASCAR Day pins. The prize for the competition could be a small trophy that the winning department gets to keep on display until NASCAR Day 2007, or come up with your own incentive ideas that are unique to your company. The possibilities are endless so have some fun with it!

Don't forget to send us the pictures from your NASCAR Day celebration at foundation@nascarfoundation.com and you may see them turn up on our NASCAR Day blog.

NASCAR Day Tip #1
3/13/2006

Trying to decide what your company can do on May 19 to celebrate NASCAR Day? Here's an idea. On NASCAR Day, plan an announcement at your company. Invite your company officials to stop by, pick up their pins, and say a few words. Call your local paper and let them know about your announcement. It would be a great photo opportunity and would help highlight all the great work your company is doing to help support a good cause.
